Commutator:
Commutator is an electric switch that is used
in motors and generators.The basic purpose
of commutator switch is to reverses a direction
of a current ,rotor in motor changes it direction
when current is changed in motors.Commutator
changes its direction of current between rotor and
an external circuit.Torque is produced in motor
through commutator by changing a direction of
current and in generator a steady dc
current is produced.
