RELAY:
relay is an electromagnetic switch and it is an electrically operated switch.
why we use relay:
relay is used to save circuit from overload or other wrong conditions that can cause to damage a circuit.Relay can be used to separate a control and controlled circuit.
Contactor is just like a relay that is electrically operated switch but contactor is used for a high current rating greater than 10 ampere.less than 10 ampere relay is used.we can use contactor in motor or other application.
